The Construction Sector Council (CSC) is a national organization committed to developing a highly skilled workforce to support the current and future needs of the construction industry in Canada. Financed by the Government of Canada and industry, the CSC is a partnership between labour and business.
The Aboriginal Human Resource Development Council of Canada (AHRDCC) is Canada’s Aboriginal Sector Council. Established in 1998, the AHRDCC works with public and private sector partners to develop innovative employment solutions for Aboriginal people. The Council’s mission is to increase the participation of Aboriginal people in Canadian labour markets.
Aboriginalconstructioncareers.ca is a joint initiative of the CSC and the AHRDCC. It was created to inform people in Aboriginal communities about career opportunities in the ironworking industry.
